"The Court Jester"
The season of 2003 will be a great one indeed, and hopefully a new day in Carnival coconut art has dawned. Our rendition of the Mardi Gras Jester for the season really wishes that very special person a very Happy Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
It is our hope that as we advance this much loved Carnival art in the Crescent City and raise awareness of the revelers that the Jester is one cool dude, and has served carnival for many years!
Note: Any hand crafted, and/or natural product can not be reproduced in the same fashion exactly twice. This is because of the inherent defects that are unavoidable when a product is produced by hand.
This is one of the new coconut pieces of the 2003 Mardi Gras which was held March 4th, 2003 this coming season. This coconut is especially made to be a one of a kind Mardi Gras memento. Since each real coconut, is prepared by hand and made to last for a life time, you're have one heck of a souvenir of the Carnival of 2003. You simply have to see this souvenir in person to see how beautiful they are! The pictures as great as they are, do not do them the justice the human eye does!
Your souvenir is numbered and sold with an Artist signed certificate of authenticity. Each comes in a white tissue lined box, with care instructions. Notice the highly polished hand rubbed finish. Each is carefully carved and sanded to bring out the true beauty of the mahogany like deep brown grain of the nut's shell. The carving is that of the Jester of Carnival, the fool of the king's royal court, wishing a personal Happy Mardi Gras to the person of your choice.
