African Wildlife Series: "Piranha"

Other Models are available, at  Mardi Gras Coconuts

This is one of the new coconuts of the 2003 Mardi Gras which was held March 4th, 2003 this past season. This coconut is special in that they are entirely real coconuts, prepared  and decorated by hand and made to last for a life time. The pics as good as they are do not do them justice, believe me! You'll be very surprised at how they look once you've seen them in person.

Each is carefully hand carved by a master coconut artist of New Orleans, Louisiana. Your souvenir is numbered and sold with an Artist signed certificate of authenticity.  Each comes in a white tissue lined box, with care instructions. You can't help but notice the highly polished hand rubbed finish. Each is carefully engraved and sanded to bring out the true beauty of the mahogany like deep brown grain of the nut. The engraving is that of an African Piranha, one of the many animals in the African wild.

Decorated by the master artist, to bring out the colors that are only seen when this "devil fish", is swimming near the surface of the Amazon, in groups of 80 or more. Able to strip flesh to the bones of any prey in minutes, even large ones, these creatures are feared as well as admired.

Prepared for the Carnival season, these extra special pieces have become a Carnival collector's prime choice, if you collect coconuts from Mardi Gras. You can display this collector's edition piece, with pride, knowing these are even hard for Zulu club members to get. In all of Carnival in New Orleans, Louisiana there are no other coconuts that look this professionally made. Getting these coconuts, are more preferable than getting those others that are moldy and were never meant to be kept for long periods as a keepsake. Get 'em now while the artist is offering them on the internet.
